What do you miss?

Bagels with cream cheese, blueberry/banana nut muffins, pizza and chinese food. Now, I make a much healthier version of the pizza and chinese food. I have managed to live without the others in my diet.1

I miss eating whatever I wanted whenever I wanted it. :-)4

I don't really miss anything, as I haven't cut anything out of my diet completely- just smaller portions. I do kind of miss just eating without thinking or tracking- that "freedom." But since I have no desire to gain back the 15 lbs I've lost (and still want to lose 30 more), I'd rather miss the lbs then miss the ignorance.1

Beer and takeaway. Would love some right now.1

and this...frequently.
I don't miss anything I can think of...I love having the energy to get up at 5am and do 3miles before work, I love coming home and working in my yard knowing I won't be sore in the morning...I love having all the energy to do all the things I love to do and having the time because well...because I just have more time now even with my workouts and meal prep and and and

This isn't fun at all - those tears already give that away so you know it too - if you "give up" something and miss it, not just cut it out because it's not worth the calories/stress/misery, it's not going to work. You WILL crave and you WILL cave. You can cut back without cutting completely out. No food can hinder weight loss as long as you are in a sustained calorie deficit.0

I miss pints of hagen daz or ben & jerrys, and whole packages of Pepperdge Farm soft bake cookies. Those were my binge foods- thousands of calories to get down quickly. If I dare to get them now I immediately portion it out and distribute it to family members.2

I don't believe this at all. I can miss something but realize it's not worth it. Instead of chinese food, I get sushi. And I still get regular pizza on occasion (once a month maybe), but I eat it less because it's "not worth the calories/stress/misery". That's just called eating healthier.1 -
I find it interesting that about half of the responses don't really miss anything (I am one of those) and the others all seem to miss things that I still include. I guess that is why I don't miss anything.1

^ Same.1 -
I miss drinking pepsi the most.. although I don't miss how sluggish it makes me. I also miss candy & bread.. I need to stop because now my mind is racing. Lol.1

OP, soda is still relatively low calorie. You should be able to fit in 1 or two cans a day if you like.
The thing I miss is the spontaneous response to cravings, like just get up and go to Hometown Buffet or order pizza any time for dinner.
I do not want/like to eat anything in artificially small portion. Most pizza restaurants do not sell half a pizza! LOL2 -
I miss portion size, but not enough to go back!1

A warm baguette slathered with cold butter.2
-
eating with out thought or care3
-
pints and pints of ice cream1
-
I don't give up anything, as long as I can make them fit into my macros!1
-
I used to eat out every day for lunch, and I miss that!1
-
Nothing, because I haven't cut anything out of my diet. I'm currently eating pizza (I now get a small that lasts me two meals), and I'll have some ice cream or Reeses cups later tonight.1
-
I eat mostly the same stuff that I did before. I just keep track of it, and understand how math works now.1
-
I miss my comfy, well broken in jeans. Now I have to break in new jeans….
If you're talking about food though, I miss nothing, it all gets planned in.2 -
Biscuits ! I do miss them alot but then they are the foods to blame for my weight lol! I would go through an awful lot!1
-
Actually, I just got an old pair of jeans back and they are just the right kind of loose with a belt! My favourite things to get back!1
-
I was going to say nothing, but after reading the comments I'll agree with another poster, "I miss the spontaneity." That's about it.1
-
The thing I miss the most is ... spontaneity.
I miss being out on a bicycle and being able to stop at an ice cream place or bakery and ordering whatever I want with no thought to ... "will this fit into my calorie limit" ... "am I riding far enough to day to afford this".
I miss being out and about walking at lunch time, and picking up a bar of chocolate or something on a whim.
I miss swinging by a fast food place and picking up a quick snack in the evening after a play or symphony.
I also, at times, miss feeling full.3 -
I miss baked goods. Muffins, bagels, buscuits, rolls, tortillas, and real bread.
I know a lot of people can fit these in, but when you're only alloted 1200 calories a day, it's a choice between what you want...and what will make you feel full and nourished.2 -
Greasy, crispy pepperoni pizza from the local shop that I can smell almost every time I drive by1
-
Mindless eating. Not necessarily overeating, but just eating without thinking about the consequences.
However, time and experience have shown me that I'm not good at maintaining a healthy weight when I do this, so I need to exercise more awareness, like it or not.1 -
I miss not thinking about every bite....1

Binging on chips and French onion dip1
