I need to get back into the swing of things so bad, but I'm struggling really bad. I don't know what to do. Every time I decide to start back up again I blow it. So I'm asking for reinforcements. I need more then just a computer relationship to help me along the way. I need friendship and more. I hope I'm not asking to much, but I need some people to talk too, to get me more motivated and able to reach my goals, I have gained so much back it's not even funny, I am proof on how fast you can backslide and how fast it and come back on. I don't want to me be fat and miserable any more. And I want to be strong enough to be able to tell someone NO when I can't eat something. I want to make the right healthy choices. And be able to live my life with out being weakened by the thought of certain foods. I need help..

hey there. deep breath! you can do this.... break it up into small parts. take it one meal at a time... one bite at a time if you need to... enjoy the moments between meals... find something active you enjoy.

don't be too hard on yourself and try to remember BIG PICTURE and that this is truly a lifelong journey... one bad meal/day/week won't mean you have to give up.... just get ON IT and I know you can do this!!!

something that i find helpful is NOT taking anything OFF my food list.... i can eat a little of that cake or ice cream... and i'm good. some people can't do this, but i don't like to feel deprived... otherwise a binge is bound to happen.

nothing is off limits in a life of moderation.

Feel free to add me for encouragement/support. Do not get discouraged. Remember it took years to put the pounds/weight on and will take time to lose it. I try to stay within my allowed calories intake. I do eat back some of my exercise calories. I recently added sugar & sodium in my food diary to watch those intakes, as I'm on medications for Type II Diabetes and High Blood Pressure...my HDL (good) Cholesterol is too low as well. When I log in my food on MFP, I say to myself I better do some cardio exercise to burn those calories off. My mantra/motto is: "The more you move, the more you lose." I've only lost 8#s since joining MFP on 5/13/11, but I've lost 17+ inches. I've been told you should weight yourself the same day each week in the morning and do measurements every 2-3 weeks. Here on MFP they only have neck, hips, & waist for measurements. I occasionally do my bust, arms (bicpes/triceps-unflexed/flexed), and legs (thighs/calves). Hope you have a great holiday.
