Cutting and lean bulking

So I'm at 161.4 pounds I'm 5'7 and my body fat percentage is pretty high right now and I want to lower that although I want to get into clean bulking and cutting and I don't know whether I should start cutting first or lean bulking first.. if i start cutting first then does anyone have any advicw or any idea om what i should start my macros on because im having a very hard time figuring out my cutting macros also if you guys suggest me start cutting first how long should i cut before i get into lean bulking? And what workouts should i be doing at the gym?? any opinions photos posted below on what I look like at the moment thanks so much in advance!! Happy 4th of july!

    Not sure what your goals are but I would assume loose a little more weight first. I'm the same height as you and I figure I'll start working more closely on body fat numbers when I get into the 140 or even 130s. At 167 you still have a fair bit of body fat that would be hiding any muscle gains you want to see.

    Do you have any idea on how long I should cut for before I start clean bulk?

    I'll preface this by saying I'm not an exeperienced bulker or anything, but I plan on getting to goal weight and then work on bulking/recomp. So for me, also at 5'7, I want to get to 135. Maybe bulk to 145, and cut from there.

    The amount of muscle a woman could put on is significantly less than a man. I think I read it's only .5-1lb a month. That's it. Thank God for newbie gainz. ;-). So think about it, if you bulk for 3-4 months and put on 3 pounds of muscle (being generous here), and 6-7 pounds of fat (it's gonna come with the muscle, hence the cut), if you want to SEE that muscle, you still have to get down to a lower body fat, which is much lower than the 160s. And when losing weight, naturally some muscle goes along with it. You might lose that 3 pounds of muscle you worked for trying to get to a lower body fat %. You should get as low as is comfortable and what meets your goals before bulking and cutting. Body recomp is a long process so put yourself in the best starting point.

    Cut until you are happy with how you look in the mirror before slowly increasing calories above maintenance.
