Is there a way to prevent other mfp users from posting on my profile?

I'm curious if anyone knows of a setting that would prevent other users from posting something to my profile. I already have my profile visible to only my friends, but that does not prevent them from posting on my wall. Is there a way to allow my MFP friends to visit my profile, but not to POST to my profile?

    It must be your friends doing it. I just tried to post on your wall and it wouldn't let me.

    Exactly. I'm trying to prevent ANYONE, including my friends, from posting. I still can't figure out a way to do that. But thanks for your input.

    Oh I misunderstood what you were asking. I'm pretty sure there's no way to keep friends form posting on your profile.

    Set your entire profile to private. It will prevent anyone from looking at or posting on your profile. They'll still be able to comment on posts you make.

    Yes. You can "hide" them. Click on the X on the right of their name.
    MFP will ask you "Are you sure you want to remove this poster from your newsfeed."

    I've had times where I was going through something difficult and needed space from daily comments from others. I still wanted them as friends, but I needed space temporarily.

    If you have friends, they can post on your profile and their friends get to see whatever posts they comment on ... just like in Facebook or other social media. That's one reason I am 'friendless' on MFP.
