166lbs to 157lbs progress

i Joined MFP in early May (I think) and I started at 163lbs. After a week or two on MFP I gained an extra 3lbs and went all the way up to 166lbs!!! When I stepped on the scale that day and saw 166lbs I freaked out! I saw myself gaining more and more weight until I was 200lbs. I told myself that I needed to start pushing myself and really make a change. So since that day I have been using MFP as much as I could. I started joining challenges to help me push myself and reading the different advice threads available.

I lost the first 5lbs pretty quickly, but got stuck on 160lbs for a while. I was discouraged and afraid that I wasn't ever going to be able to break through that 60s wall. I pushed myself harder and kept my mind on my long term goal. I am happy to say that I now weigh 157lbs! I never thought I would see the 50s again, but here I am!

I want to say thank you for all of the support MFP gave me and all of my amazing MFP friends who pushed me to keep going!

    Good for u! I weigh 166 now and can't wait to get back to the 150s. Keep up the great work and hopefully I'll be posting the same results soon!:wink:
