You lose weight from your wallet. Hydroxycut does nothing for weight loss. It's a scam.

As much as your tempted to try it out, don't. Take it from me, I bought a small bottle in December for about $35 (rip-off) and all it does is increases your heart rate and gives you a ton of energy (I would take it before I went to the gym).

Years ago, Hydroxycut used to have ephedra in it, which has now been banned and that's how ppl used to lose weight...but it's def nothing helpful as far as weightloss.
