I know MFP doesn't track Magnesium, don't know why? But have read a lot that it is supposed to help with a lot of functions within the body and wondered if anyone else was tracking and what sort of foods your eating to boost levels absorbed?

MFP doesn't track it because it isn't a required nutrient on food labels, and it would be pretty difficult to track when many food manufacturers don't report it.1

If you are eating leafy greens, beans, and nuts and seeds, you are getting magnesium.1

At the Dr's suggestion I take a 400 mg magnesium tablet daily. I get charlie horses at night if I stop. I also sleep much better now.
Any particular reason you were thinking of tracking it?0 -
