I totally have been in the same spot. I just started a blog about alternate day fasting if you want to follow along I will be struggling publicly, haha. You're not alone!

I'm a loner too! I don't have a gym membership, I did but going alone was humiliating. So I started working out at home. About a year ago, I started jillian Michaels and legit logging on this app. I lost 20 pounds but very recently gained 4-5 so far this summer. Depressing.

With diet, I'm kind of on my own too. No real friends and my boyfriend is healthier but he doesn't work out or try to make better choices you know? He's very encouraging though. Most people didn't and haven't said much about my losing/progress. Not employers or even family. So I had and have to really depend on me. It's hard. But it's like a lesson too. Learning to do it alone and be your own coach and everything. I do read all the blogs on here and post if I need or want to. It's okay if you're not perfect everyday, just most days. And really switching from the mindset 'diet' 'exercise' 'get skinny' to be active, change your eating lifestyle, and get fit and healthy. And stay that way!

This is my second time 'losing' since I was 20 and I can tell you I don't look like some model. I thought when I saw a certain number on the scale, I would look a certain way. And I didn't. Or had certain measurements, I would feel more confident. But that's not the case. Granted I am lean but I still got my insecure, 'fatty' areas despite my loss. So you have to constantly adapt and change and yeah, it's not easy. Like I said, I just slipped a bit and gained. So I have to go back to basics, like measuring foods and changing my workout routine. Etc. It sucks! But it's really great, changing your life and body. Constantly learning.

You can add me if you want!

Hello I just joined the gym but I do the classes, I don't know where you are but if they have any Les Mills classes like body attack or sh'bam then they are great workouts. Maybe zumba also. I go alone and nobody takes any notice as they are busy on themselves. I love the classes.
With food I just tend to follow healthy cookbooks. Clean eating Alice and Joe Wicks (the body coach) have some great books. Feel free to add me.
