Trying to see if anyone else is doing it. I started a week ago. Feel great. Looking to lose 15 lbs. Any tips would be appreciated! I'm 32, female, 5'2. I weigh 137 lbs. 3 months ago I was at 121 lbs but had some hormone related thing and gained 17 lbs practically overnight. I Work out six days a week and also walk at normal pace during my lunch. Eating between 1450-1600 calories although the Insanity guide puts me at 1900. I do feel energetic and just great eating at my current caloric range. Can you share your experience? What is an effective way of losing weight with Insanity?

If you stick with the program and keep your CICO in check you'll definitely lose! I've done Insanity a couple of times, and I'm finishing up my second round of Max 30. It won't get any easier, and the second month is tougher than the first.

My only quip is it isn't true strength training. These days I mix it in with weight and body weight training for a more complete program. Good luck!

Thank you! I like strength training better, but my focus right now is losing the lbs I gained and get back on track! Wonder if you had good results after completing your first round of insanity max.

It's hard to say as it is only part of my training. I have had good results since I started but I do a lot of different things so it's tough to isolate one for results. I will say it really helped my conditioning for mountain biking.

Just like anything else, if you burn more than you eat, you'll lose. Good luck!

I'm on my second round of doing the program. Lost 7 lbs and really helped eliminate some of my fatty areas. My goal wasn't to lose much weight so even tho I did alter my diet, I didn't follow any nutrition guides and still lost weight. This didn't happen until wk 3.
