Hi ... I am 39 mother of 2 5"11 and 245 pounds. I get no support at home from my husband or family. Instead I get told things like your crabby when you diet here have a soda and donuts. Looking for support here and friends. Trying to at least hit that 200 Mark by the end of August for my anniversary ... My favorite poisons are Coca Cola and m&ms sometimes that's all I would eat in a day. Trying to get on a healthier path...

I am new here. Have used mfp in the past and lost 50 pounds then gained it all back after my father passed away. I need to lose about 140 pounds. I think I just finally hit the wall about being unhappy about my weight all the time. I have been feeling really trapped for the past year in a body that won't let me do the things I want aND limits my lifestyle. I want to become the best version of myself possible and this isn't it. So I decided to sick up my embarassment and anger at myself for getting this big and do something about it. Not just talk about doing something. I want to be a positive role model for my two girls and enjoy the freedom that having a healthy body will give me. Feel free to add me. Just looking for weight loss buddies.1

Hello there! I'm Anna and I'm 23 at the moment. Throughout my teen years I've been playing volleyball semi-professionally and even though I was never skinny (around 154lbs while being 5.7ft tall) I was very fit. Around three years ago I gained immense about of weight and I kept on gaining. Many reasons and not many solutions to it. I probably was around 264 pounds but I'm not sure since I was too scared to check. I started logging on MFP a month ago while being 254 and at the moment I'm tiny bit below 240. I'm quite active here and hella motivated. You can add me if you'd like.
Cheers! ✌0 -

I'm only 5'1, I'm at 205 lb due to medication many years ago. I was angry that this has happened to me. I now need to be taking control, I need friends to keep me motivated to drop 60 lb where I was at.0

Hello All... 43, Male, 5'10" currently at 237.4, started at 288.5 on February 2nd of this year. I've bounced up and down by as much as 90 lbs over most of my adult life. Because of complications with liver disease my Doc wanted me to have bariatric surgery, I had actually made it to the day of surgery before deciding to try a last time to lose without it. My goal weight is 180, 57.4 to go!3

I've lost 80 lbs in the past and recently gained 60 lbs back. Ugh...all that hard work and dedication! Any who, I am here again. I'm trying to lose 80 lbs (for a total of 100 lbs lost). Feel free to add me!0

Hello all. I started my weight loss journey about seven weeks ago when I saw the scale read 200 pounds. I'm only 5'-2", and I used to be around 130-135 pounds a few years ago, and even that was almost considered overweight for my height. I'm now currently 185 pounds, and I hope to lose around 60 pounds before 2017!
I'm also looking for inspiring and active friends, so feel free to add me!1 -

I'm ready to start this again! I lost 30 lbs and then fell off the wagon due to being on a fire assignment for work and working everyday 16 hrs per day and sitting in front of a huge snack table! I'm looking for more friends so we can motivate each other and hopefully reach our goals!
I am a single mom of 2 girls and I have a sw of 302.7(start date of my lifestyle change this time is 7/11/16) my cw is 301.6 and my gw for now is 180. That may change once I get there. Oh, and I'm 5'7.0 -
I'm starting over again and am looking for help with motivation. Feel free to add me! I'm 5'4 and 241lbs. Goal weight is 135.1

Hi everyone! I started this time around on January 3rd, 2016. I am 41 years old and this is probably my 3rd good college try to lose weight since I've been about 23. My starting weight (and my highest)was 250 and I am 5'4. 2 I've gotten down to 202 give or take a few fluctuations. Honestly I was diagnosed with ADHD last year and since I have been on meds for that, I have been more focused this time around than any other time. I still struggle though staying on track. Summer has been hard. Too much fun and food to be had! I haven't given up though. I would have in the past. I guess I have to thank the meds for that.I have 3 goals weights. First to get out of the 200's and into ONEderland. Then I'll shoot for 180 and eventually I want to end up at 165. I would love more friends! Feel free to add me.1

I'm 5'8, currently 310lbs, started out at 318lbs in the beginning of June, and I'm just starting to try out serious weight loss. I don't have experience with crash diets, or really dieting at all, so this is all new to me. My current goal is 1.5 lbs per week, and I'd like to get my weight down to at least 180lbs. I know it will take a long time, probably a couple years to do it safely, but I'd love some support along the way. Feel free to add me if you've got a lot to lose and need someone to help cheer you on.4

@jubinahdi. Wow 12 lbs in one week! Thats amazing! what does the Canadian diet consist of?
@vangoghdelaney. Thats awesome. whats your goal weight? I stopped almost three years ago. And everyday is a challenge getting back into the long journey of weight loss.
I'm Canadian.my diet consisted of Maple Syrup and Bacon hehe....I'm currently living LCHF...bacon ok...maple syrup is not. I'm curious too lol1 -
Well, I use Kg instead of the lb but roughly I'm going to lose 80 lb. I used the Canadian diet and lost 12 lb in a week. It's great, and I recently added some workouts to my plate. I think I'm gonna make that Canadian diet as my lifestyle when I reach my desired weight. Feel free to add me is you want a friend in your weight loss journey.
What is the Canadian diet?0 -

Hello all! I'm making a serious attempt to change my lifestyle. I'm certainly ignorant and lost, but with the MFP forums and member support, I'm confident I'll do well.
I'm 41, 5'7", 390lbs. I'm a lifelong emotional eater and am struggling hardcore again.
I would love to connect with more users to offer and obtain support on this long journey.
Good luck!0
