What motivates you on your worst/stress-filled/lazy days?

Day 12.
1600 cal diet.
Daily 60min workout.
It took EVERYTHING in me to go to the gym in the middle of my workday. I didn't get proper rest and my workday was hectic.
I finally made it to the treadmill...and wanted to quit at 15 mins.
So...I told myself "Candyce, if you take a step off this treadmill before the 60 min mark, all of your student loans will be due immediately". As a precaution, I did 61 minutes, for a burn of 802 calories.

Right now I'm focusing on eating healthy carbs and lots of fruits and vegetables. So I think a lot about how much better I will feel or how much better my body works when it has the right fuel. It didn't used to motivate me but my body has changed so much (how I feel, my mood, my bowels sorry tmi) so it makes me feel empowered to keep going!2

Lol. I need you to talk me off the ledge! Honestly, most days it's fear that motivates me. I've lost almost 50 lbs and I am very afraid that I'll slip back into my old habits. So I exercise everyday, which I know is probably not necessary or even healthy for my body but I almost crave it now. I feel better after I run or exercise.2

I remember how bad I felt mentally and physically before I started this journey. If I'm not moving forward, I'm going back to that place. No way do I want that. Gets me moving every time.1

Thank you all for sharing.
Of course, renewed health and body is always the forethought, but sometimes I just can't get in the zone.
Nonetheless, I'm in for the longhaul, so ill have to continue threatening myself until it becomes normal routine.1 -
The gym, the pavement, and booze are my refuge.2

Fitness porn gets me going. I go on IG and watch clips LOL. It helps me, seriously. To see Women and men at a place(the gym) I DO want to be, just not at the moment, doing things I know I need to be doing. Watching them stimulates my genuine interest.1

I just get up and go to the gym first thing in the morning, so there's no time for anything to happen to put me in a bad mood and demotivate me. it works for me lol.2

An intense 60mins every single day might cause you to burn out. It's good to move every day, but make sure to have lower intensity days here and there to allow yourself to recover!
As for motivation, if I'm feeling particularly unmotivated or exhausted, I'll tell myself I only have to do 20min. I almost always end up doing longer because by then I'm in the zone. I also do intense classes 3x a week, and the trainers notice if I'm not there. My husband goes with me, so when I'm not feeling into it, he makes me go, and vice versa. Having a buddy or people who hold you accountable helps a lot!2 -
Exercise generally relieves my stress. My stress and anxiety go up when I miss workouts due to life happening and whatnot. My day generally feels incomplete without a good ride or trip to the weight room.0

I do the same thing. I purposefully picked a gym close to work so it's on the way.0
