Hi I just joined as I need to lose weight and fast so says my doctor. I have borderline high blood pressure, pre diabetic, cholesterol on high side and to boot weigh almost 400 pounds.
He said that if I don't get the weight off I will be on med/meds very soon. He has given me 60 days to try and get some of my numbers down or he will put me on meds.
I would like to know if any members would let me be their friends on here so I may see there food and possibly ask a few questions.
My meals are something like
Eggs toast maybe bacon
Sandwich or frozen pizza pockets
Tons of chips and pop
Takeout most suppers pizza garlic ginger pizza deal
Candy
Pastries.

There's a lot of good information there about setting up your calorie target, logging consistently and accurately, and avoiding the most common mistakes a lot of us made starting out.
The good news is you can lose weight quickly given your starting weight.
The bad news is if your day-to-day diet is as you describe, you are going to have to consider serious adjustments to your habits. You don't have to cut out chips, pizza, and pop completely, but are you open to making changes? Can you consider including more nutrient dense foods and eating the calorie dense foods much less frequently?
Can you consider preparing more meals at home instead of eating pre-prepared food frequently?
Can you set a calorie target and stick to it?
If those answers are yes, you have a shot at success.
