I started at 200, down to 176 in 3 months. I would ideally like to go to 150-140 although my OBGYN says for my height 165 is okay.1

It could also depend on what brands you are looking at.2 -
I'm 5'6, have small bones, but lift heavy. Started at 144lbs in Jan, now at 135lbs, I'm shooting for 130-132lbs.1

Currently 74 , goal is to loose at least 10 kgs or more0

I'm 5'5.5" 130lbs. Vanity lbs here and there, but I've never been overweight...goal where I am most comfortable is between 126-128 lbs.0

I'm 5'7" so not quite 5'6 but only an inch taller. Starting weight was 239, current weight is 226, and goal weight is 165. I'm stopping at 165 because at that point, I would rather focus on how I feel, how strong I am, and my other measurements instead of a scale number. Muscle is more dense than fat, so I may weigh the same but have more muscle, and i'm fine with that.1

I'm about 5'5.5" (166 cm) so I'll count myself in this 5'6" club
When I was 132 (60 kg), my GW was 121 (55 kg). But then I dropped it to 118 when I reached 121. I'm now at 116-118 but mostly stable at 117. I was seriously considering lower that number of GW to 112-114, but now I just want my weight to be stable at around 116-117 and see how my diet and workout goes.
I guess I also need to accept the fact that my GW will never be that low if I want a body with relatively low body fat %, which means higher lean body mass. I do think it's quite reasonable though, especially for a flat-chested person like me1 -
I'm just starting my weightloss journey. Currently 100kgs (220lbs). Would love to get down to 79kgs (174lbs) and from there I'll evaluate how much more I want to lose.1

5'6" SW 198, CW 160, Goal: 155-160. At 61 years old, I am happy with my weight loss. Being at a lower weight requires lots more exercise and I am not willing to put the extra effort to stay at a lower weight. I am happy now that I am able to eat the foods I love and have some treats once in awhile...and to eat out.2

Well, first of all I'm in Australia and an Australian size 14 is the equivalent to a US size 10.
Secondly I have very muscular quads so finding pants to fit is difficult. If they fit my waist, I can't get a leg in. If they fit my legs, I need a belt to cinch up the waist.
And I've got wide hips and shoulders ... the bones are widely place. Even when I'm underweight, my hip bones and shoulders dictate the size of clothing I wear.

5'5.5". SW 169, GW 145. Now 146-148 and I'm happy here2

I started at 17 stone 3 pounds, I am currently 14 stone 3.5 pounds.
My original goal was to be 12 stone although I think once I reach that goal I'll be making a new one0 -
I am at 143lbs now. Lowest was 135lbs and was still too flabby in stomach/thighs/calves. So my goal is 120-125lbs. I am very not-muscular and am flat-chested (34A) so I think it will look best, and for being better at running, the lower the better.
Btw, everyone has the same bones. No "heavier bones" or "small bones". Google 'body fat scans' where you can see the skeleton.2 -
My goal is to lose fat mainly but I'm currently 135 and would like to be 125 with less than 20% body fat. I was close to 130 in April when I had a few vacations back to back and fell off my training1

I'm 1.66m tall - that's about 5 foot 5 and a half. Starting weight was 84kg - 185lbs. Current weight is just under 70kg (about 154lbs). Goal weight - maybe 65kg? I started as a large UK size 16, and I'm now a UK size 12, US size 8, with a waist of around 30 inches. My body shape is a bit funny - I am quite stocky, with short legs and a good hourglass figure - big hips and big breasts. I think I'd look even weirder if I went much lower in weight, and the hourglass is kind of the only thing I have going, so why ruin it?0

I'm 218 right now. I want to get down to 140 - 150 lbs.0
-
I'm 5'6". SW: 245 lbs CW: 203 lbs, current GW: 165 lbs and then reevaluate from there. I'd be elated at 145 lbs.0
-
My goal weight is 159 pounds. My highest weight was 269, and I'm currently at 244.0
-
My heaviest weight was 233lbs, last summer I was between 140-144lbs and a UK size 10-12 (US 6-8) but due to 2 close family loses in the space of 3 months and I had a gain of 20lbs (now down to 15.2lbs) and I want back to the 140-144lb bracket, i did go lower than that but I looked gaunt and found I got obsessed with going lower and it wasn't happening once I relaxed I maintained well.0

Currently: 183 pounds
Goal: 150 has always been my happy weight so I'd accept 150.
But with lots of hard work I've been 134. That's my dream goal.0 -

We're pretty close to being twins0 -
I'm 5'6" SW 143.8 CW 131.9 GW 125 Once I reach my goal I may reevaluate. I don't want to go too low and not be able to maintain.1
-
5'6" SW: 147, CW: 129. My GW is about 125 but at this point I'm more focused on toning rather than the last few pounds0
-
5'6". SW: 120 CW: 140 GW: Whatever. I'm not concerned with the scale. My goal is to add more muscle. My body tends to typically sway more on the leaner side, however I usually carry most of my weight in my hips.0

Interesting how different everyone's goals are!
I'm 5'6" and 50, currently at 185lbs after starting out at 217. My initial goal is 150lbs - just a few pounds heavier than when I got married, and I felt relatively okay with my weight then. I'll re-evaluate how I look and feel when I get there and might try for another 10lbs off, but I'm pretty sure I haven't been that light since I was a teenager.
My first goal was to get under 200lbs, then to get out of "obese" and into merely "overweight". Now I'm aiming for under 180 and in 10lbs decrements from there.0 -
My goal is anywhere between 65 and 75 kg. I plan to get down to 65 then eat comfortably but responsibly and see where my weight settles.0

Ok, so a little background. Normally I buy my jeans at the thrift shop by my house, because they're $5 a pair. If I buy new clothes, it's usually at Target, because I'm just cheap like that. Today I was at the mall, and I decided to try on some cute clothes just for fun. I went into a store and grabbed some really cute jeans, and tried them on. See my quote above where I say I'm a size 6? The 6s I tried on today were ABSOLUTELY FALLING OFF. So I grabbed a 4 and, doubtfully, a 2. Tried those on, and the 2s were loose! I probably would have been able to squeeze into a size 0 if I'd tried. WTH is wrong with American clothing sizes??2 -

I'm working hard and I never understood how difficult it can be when you have to rely on medicine to make your body work. I'm trying not to beat myself up about it.
I am sorry for your illness. Give yourself time and show yourself some grace. Adjusting to life without a thyroid takes time. My sister experienced the same thing over 20 years ago. For her, weight loss has been a battle ever since but that's a family trait too. We are thankful she is healthy and alive.1
