Oh I so need help and support

First let me say HELLO! I was regularly visiting the site and monitoring food and excercise. So I got off track and no big deal, I was doing ok. I went on a cruise -oh sure you say to yourself and your sad- well that was in July. Then I had 20 lbs to lose. Well I went in the hospital for a few days, my ex lost his job and since he is my son's father I felt obligated when he needed a place to live, my son broke his arm so badly it had to be rebroken in surgery, work and bla bla bla the story goes on.

OK so I wake up one day and realize my clothes don't fit and now I'm 15 pounds heavier than ever!!! OMG I can't believe I let myself get so fat. I can't hardly get around without huffing and puffing like an old woman. I'm not supposed to exercise because of chest pain and the doctor won't prescribe any fabulous pills to assist since I have to clear up this issue - crap. So I started the Miracle Soup Diet and have lost 3 lbs so far! YIPPEE 3!!!

So I figured I would bare my soul and ask for support here. I've joined the Biggest Loser at work and twice now have just contributed to THEIR winnings - lol. So now that I'm the heaviest I've ever been I vow not to let this happen again.

    Well, you have your work cut out for you :smile:

    You can do this... you clearly WANT it, and you are part of a community that will provide you with the tools and support you need to get there.

    One step, one pound, at a time... and with every one, you will feel a little jolt of pride and self-esteem come back.

    I know exactly how you feel I been back and forth on this for the last couple of weeks myself but the point is to keep trying. Tomorrow is another day to try harder. We all have days when you do bad, try to review your day and pick one thing you did wrong and try not to do it again tomorrow. One thing at a time is much easier to over come. You are a lot stronger then you realize!! You can do this!!

    i know how important support is im fairly new here to so whatever you need we can all do this together support i find is key, good luck im here every day so if you need to vent again go ahead we all do it :bigsmile:

    I think all of us have been there, it is a slippery slope we fall down when we slack off. But, you caught yourself, and you are making your way back up it.
    Hang in there, you CAN do this. You did it before, and have faith that you can do it again. We are all here to support you. Baby steps.

    :sad: I hate that we HAVE to eat. I start and can't stop. It's okay, do a "U-ee". I love this visual of just turning around. Don't keep going in the wrong direction - -you'll drive it into the ditch. At your first opportunity, make a U-turn. And you are right back on track!

    Thank you all for your fabulous words of encouragement. I do love that u-turn idea. I've been beating myself up and that only digs the ditch deeper - think I'll make the next U-turn!
