You are an inspiration!!! I hope I can stick to it the way you have, I too have a hubby who although he is fit and doesn't need to loose any weight is following along with me, just eating larger portions. May I add you as a friend?1

What an inspirational story. You look amazing! And so much younger! A lot of people end up looking older in the face after losing a lot of weight, but you look decades younger. I love that you and your husband can now spend time together hiking. And what a beautiful area you must live in.1

Thanks for your great story. I think that your children must be proud of you. One of my biggest points to beat myself up over has been my poor modeling for my kids. Now your children know not only how to eat/move better, but that a goal and work can be effective and even enjoyable along the way. You truly are an inspiration; thank you for sharing your journey.1

I cannot begin to tell you how much I needed to read this today! I am trying to face head on the fact that I have 100 pounds to lose! That number alone is daunting and makes it hard for me to 100% commit. It just seems so impossible. But then something happened last night, my husband and I went to the store and bought a small cake for dessert. We got it home and suddenly it just didn't sound very good. I took a small fork-full and realized it just wasn't worth it. I am counting that as a victory. Prior to joining MFP I would have scarfed the whole cake without a second thought. But the fact that I went to bed, not hungry and super satisfied without the cake, is just a miracle! Thank you for being so real in your post!6

I loved reading your story. I couldn't see the pictures...so need to get on a different computer so I can. I identify with a lot of what you are talking about, and have had ups and downs in my journey. But, I truly appreciate you sharing your experiences, they give me hope that I will some day be what I have never been, close to maintenance! Thank you!1

Thanks, we are trying to get ours out too. I use the same bribe on them as I do on myself, "go for a hike, and we can have pizza and go shopping!" LOL0
