Amazing! Details please! I'm struggling with belly fat and getting down these last 20 lbs. I've been doing 5x5 3x a week, running and working with a trainer 1-2 a week and I'm just stuck. I track calories and while I have my days here and there where I may eat a bit more than I'd like it's still not game over amounts. I'm willing to try something new!1

Great job, how did you do it? How many calories did you eat, and which exercise. And what is your height and before/final weight?1

@hrod215 I really just do everything in moderation. No food is off limits. My trigger foods are only eaten once or twice a year. Desserts are made when I'm taking them to a holiday gathering or a party. That way I get a little but most gets eaten by guests. I workout 1-2 times a day. In the morning with weights and my own body resistance then again before bed with a kettle bell. I had back surgery in March so I'm just getting back into core workouts. I do countertop push-ups, it's easier on my back. I do 10 sets of 30 daily so if I'm making dinner or getting up to go to the bathroom or changing a load of laundry, I'll do a couple sets. Same with squats. If I'm just standing there waiting for something I'll do a set of 10. I don't do cardio. It pisses me off. Don't ask me why. I just do my workouts like you'd do a circuit workout. Fast with no rest.
@OneTwentyThree I just cut calories and ate everything in moderation. I tend to go more protein and healthy fat and lower carbs. That works best for me. During weight loss I was eating 1240 calories a day. If we go out to dinner I usually know what I'm getting. I put that in first thing in the morning. That way I can tailor the rest of my day around that. I may only be able to have a protein shake or 2 but it's worth it to not go over. I was about 162# in the first photo, about 140 or so in the middle and 134 in the final. Right now I hover just under 140 and I'm comfortable with that. I've put on more muscle since my surgery and that's where the weight gain came in. All of my clothes still fit the same. I only weigh myself once a week now. I'm slowly training myself that the number doesn't matter. It's how you look, feel, and how your clothes fit!!

Absolutely gorgeous Sammi! Did you know that you could go that lean? Have you ever been that lean before?2

@mixedberries I'm closer to that weight now but more muscle. I'm more comfortable at this point.
@wapan I've actually been a little smaller than that last photo. I was a size 00. That was too small and people thought I was sick. I'm much more comfortable where I am now. I feel strong and sexy and just comfortable in my skin which is the best place to be!!
Thank you all for the kind words!!1 -
You definitely have more definition in the last photo. You can really see it in your legs. Great work!1
