I'm down about 23 lbs and people is starting to notice! I'm 5'11" so 220 doesn't look real bad on me, my goal weight is 180, still have lbs to lose but I'm headed in the right direction! Did you drop any lbs if so how many, are people starting to notice? :) Add me!!!

Congrats! It's a self-esteem booster when people notice that you've been putting the time in and your body reflects that.

That is really great! Congrats! I know it's such a great feeling! My numbers are just about identical to yours except I started off 9 pounds heavier.

    Keep it going!

I'm 5'11 as well and I lost about 20 pounds before I really noticed, though that was in pictures since it takes my brain a little bit to catch up mirror-wise. Though I started out quite a bit heavier, at 320. I'm at 245 right now, and I've noticed since about 280 it's taking larger amounts of weight for me to notice any difference.

Not really sure on the other people noticing thing, since no one but my husband really ever says anything about it, and he's pretty up to date on how much I've actually lost just by me talking about it.

Exactly!! My self esteem went up tremendously, it helps you want to lose weight even more than you wanted to now

Yeah I can understand what you're going through..the closest ones to you probably do notice but aren't saying anything sometimes people are just going to be people, you lost a lot from what you're telling me, keep on going than hopefully eventually more people will take notice, at first people wasn't saying much but than one day they were just like you looking smaller, I never thought my husband would notice and just the other day he was like I thought you were someone else, so that made me smile knowing that eventually he'd notice so just keep up the work and don't get discouraged, your time will come, after all we're pleasing ourselves so as long as you're happy about it, dont pay no mind to what others think, this is your journey

Just barely. I re-started at 203 and am now down to 189 as of this morning. (Official check-in day is tomorrow, and MFP had my starting weight as 200 from 3 years ago.) My clothes are definitely looser, and my arms are way less jiggly. My hairstylist noticed yesterday, but didn't say much beyond "You look great!", which is about my comfort level. Not so fun - I had someone come in to my volunteer job yesterday that WOULD NOT stop trying to flirt, even though the rings on my left hand were clearly visible and obvious. It's been a while since I've had to deflect unwanted attention; wish my husband would notice instead of random creeps!

Congratulations on your hard work paying off; you're more than halfway there!

I'm 5'7", down about 20lbs. Right now I hover between 175-180, and my goal is to get to 160-165 (might stop at 165 since my goal is to pack on muscle as well). My pharmacist did a triple take the other day and complimented me on my weight loss, which certainly felt good!

congrats!! :) its good that you can see the difference in your clothing. Thats how im mainly weighing myself now or checking my weight because sometimes that scale discourages me. Yeah men seem to not care if youre married or not, their ego is to high depending. Yeah my husband recently noticed but it took a while because when you see someone everyday you cant tell a big difference but since hes been working more and we dont spend time a lot he noticed!

I know I might never actually see my ab muscles. I know my core has gotten wicked strong, but I also know being female and in my mid-30s that nature is stacked against me getting my body fat quite that low. But I do have defined biceps and shoulders! (I might have accidentally taught my toddler to flex because he was copying me celebrating my buffness. ;))
