Exercise/step counter function not working

Is anyone else having issues with their step counter not working? I have it synced to my phone and usually I gain a few calories through out the day for walking etc but today it has stopped adding "extra" calories but is still tallying steps on home screen. Hope this makes sense. I have checked settings- nothing has changed so just wondering if others have noticed this

    I'm having the same issue today - it's not adding in any of the steps I've taken. Anyone else having this issue?

    yes I have the same issue. Pacer is seeing myfitnesspal but myfitnesspal is not adding in the steps.

    Mine seems to have just fixed itself. Hopefully it starts working for others. Thanks for your replies- glad to hear it wasn't just me or something I had mistakenly done!

    Fitbit has been completely off today. Very annoying.

    I have the same problem now in December. Did anyone ever come forward to explain the problem and how it can be fixed? I have had to resort to manually adding walking exercises, which I suspect brings down accuracy.
