Punch in the baby gut

Twice now in the past two weeks someone has asked me if I'm pregnant. Not even a little bit, I just happen to hold most of my fat in my stomach.
I just feel so frustrated lately. .I only want to lose 15-20 pounds but can't seem to stick with it

What can't you stick to? Are you restricting too much? All you need is a deficit to lose weight.

I tried 1310 calories then bumped it up to 1580 for half a pound loss per week. Weekends I seem to go overboard.

For myself i find helpful to fill up on veggies, cooked or raw, which i actually prefer. Keeps me full and satisfied. I have small portion of protein with that as well.

To get to blue, you have to do red

So take your frustration and use it to motivate yourself

No tricks, no tips...just weigh and accurately log your food to a defecit across the week and stick at it

Yep, I agree with @Sued0nim. Maybe you should eat fewer calories per day during the week so that you have more calories for the weekend? You'll still have to weigh, measure and log accurately so that you don't go WAY overboard on the weekends, but it's worth a try.

Also, because you carry your weight in your stomach try working on your posture and on tightening up all of those underlying ab muscles. We all have them. Most are not visible, but you have them so start putting them to use. Then your weight may not seem as out of proportion.

So at weekends you need to ask yourself, lose weight or go overboard....?

I do this. My husband and I always go out with friends on Friday nights and I end up drinking a few beers. I shave 50 calories per day from my goal the rest of the week so I can save it for beers Friday night.
