Wow, i've never actually taken the time to think about a "dream" physique or anything. But now that i look, all of the women whom i aspire to look and train like are incredibly similar. So I guess i definitely have my own preference as far as size.
Instead, i'll tell you why i like their physique and how it could relate to my own vision for myself:
jessica arevalo- Ignore the SCAMZ apparel and what you've got is a girl that's my same height and body shape. Her prime physique is very similar to my own potential capabilities. One of the things that is important to me when i'm looking up to these women is that they don't have breast implants as it's something i don't think i'll ever do. It makes me feel like i can still be lean and look feminine without implants.
Diana Volkova- She's the same height and body type as me. No implants, good size and symmetry. She gets extra bonuses for having very very long hair (like i do).
Allison Stokke- Again, lean and same body type with no implants. I think her abs look the most like mine when i'm lean and she has great arms.
I guess the look i generally go for is "Muscle within mid-range of max potential, leanness overall, relatively small body size, VERY small waist, hourglass/pear curves with muscle mass, shapely delts".
I think one of the biggest aspects i like about their physique is also the fact that they might look "ripped" in gym clothes but can be flattering in non-gym clothes. This is the perfect combination of "enough" without moving on to "too much" IMO. I know to some this is "too much".
edit: It's strange that my "dream" body is something similar to what i already have. I must realllllly think i can acheive it or something. LOL7 -
I never really gave it much thought but I guess I always wanted to be "lean and toned." But I'm short, so the long, lean look is never going to happen--who knew?
But I'm pretty damn happy at how far I've come. Not only do I fit in my clothes better (initial goal when I started), but I am functionally fit and strong. That is really awesome.

This is something I have been feeling a little bit down about lately. My "dream" body is not exactly the most conventionally attractive. It's my body, the way it was before I lost weight. It just felt more "mine". The body that I remember in all of my adventures. And then I saw this and thought.. not bad. I could get used to that. I have a similar figure, with a bit more pronounced hourglass. If when I lose more weight I look something close to that, I would be totally cool with it.

I'm really not sure. I've liked a lot of the fitness pictures people have put up. But I don't want particularly defined abs or arm muscles. I wouldn't mind a little definition, but I don't want anything that looks really quite defined.
A lot of the pictures I looked I know wouldn't be attainable for me, particularly the thighs. Even when I was underweight I carried a lot of weight and mass in my thighs (probably because I'm so short it's not very proportionate). But I do want a perkier and rounder bum. At the moment despite being 21 it's kind of saggy never used to be. But entirely my fault for gaining weight. I'm working on it.

These two are definitely "dreams", since I don't really have the underlying shape to achieve them, but I still love their figures regardless! It would be awesome to look like either - I love Dita's curves and Fifties style, but I also love Lucy's bada$$ look.

My dream body is also my own body 20 years ago. I did not appreciate the body I had back then. Now after two babies and 130+ pounds packed into my chest and mid-section, now that I am losing weight, I am worried about sagging loose skin. My boobs are freakishly large so I am not worried about losing some of them. I have never been a "Flat Pat." I have lost almost 60lbs since March 2015 (40lbs of the 60 since I joined MFP), but I am worried that I won't look good naked when I reach my goal weight.
My dream is to be healthy, look good in my clothes, and wear scandalously sexy lingerie for my hubby. (I remember the days and the nights. ) I am so looking forward to shopping for my final wardrobe and lingerie!2 -

As far as what I can change, I'd like a flat stomach, smallish waist, and toned arms and legs. As for what I can't, I'd love to not be so short-waisted! A longer waist would look more proportional on me, especially as I have fairly long legs.0

We all know the question is not a realistic one. I know I could never look like my "dream" body which would be close to how Christie Brinkley looked back in her prime. If the question was, "How would you like to fine tune your own body?", then I would say lose an inch or so off the abdomen and be healthy and vibrant.

I think @jemhh and I both realize this. We are saying we don't even have anyone in mind, because it never crossed our mind to pick a dream body, a body of another woman.
Right, that's what I'm saying. I might see a woman, admire her arms, and wonder how she trains them. But I've never thought "those are the arms I'd like."1 -

I'm the opposite - my legs are short enough that I need petite pants, but my torso is long enough that it's really hard to find "all-in-one" styles of lingerie or swimsuits that fit me. I'm 5'6" and my hubby is 6', but when we're seated I'm pretty close to his level. Although I probably look "short-waisted" at the moment, because of the droopy boobs and big belly disguising my natural waistline!
I have the same wish list as you for things that I could change, though!0 -

Lol...I used to date a guy who was 6' 1" (I'm 5' 6.5"), and standing our waists were nearly at the same place!0 -
My dream body is definitely my own body, only smaller and with a flatter stomach.
I love my boobs and my waist to hip ratio, but I don't love being a size 18.1 -
I am learning to feel happy with my body, so I'm aiming for me 3 years ago (before I became pregnant).
I have a couple of kilos to go but it's doable..!

I know, it's cheesy, but at 60 my dream body is the one that will keep chugging along; healthy; strong enough and with enough stamina to do the things I want to do; and that will keep me out of assisted living as long as possible.
So, I could be stronger, the strength I have could be more balanced, and I keep chipping away at those, but overall, I'm feeling pretty good with me, these days.
I admit, although most of the time I'm OK with it, when I have to wear girl-type dress-up clothes, I'd like to be able to wish away the bilateral mastectomies (no reconstruction, long story). But 'alive' is such a good start on the rest of my day . . . .14 -
Hopefully these work...Jeffrey Donovan as Michael Westen - my goal body ideal is a female version of this. Lean but strong, a little wiry.

I'm 5'10", 151.5, and about 11% bf. So I'd say about 30-40 lbs. heavier, and about 5% less bodyfat. I need to stop being a lazy *kitten*, and start picking up heavy thing, and putting them down again. Meh, effort.1

If I were to wish to look like a celebrities body ....I would choose Jennifer Anniston or Jessica Simpson. But I would settle to with my own at about 170 and toned. At my highest weight I was 320ish....that was about 9 years ago. I lost down to 244, then met my awesome husband and got comfortable and lost control and gained back to 282. I am down to 251.8 I think it was this morning. I am quite proud of myself!4

Actually, coming back to this, I realise I also don't identify with anyone else as a dream goal, I guess because I've never been small enough as an adult to know what my body shape will do in the healthy range, other than the proportions.
However, mulling it over some more, I think Keli from Fitness Blender is about right for me, though I might have more boob. She's strong, lean but not super defined. Good butt and thighs. I think it's achievable for me at this point. Maybe that's part of why I love their workouts so much, I'm aiming to look like her!0 -
Heck, since I've commented on this thread, I always liked Dean Cain from his Lois and Clark days. Not completely cut, not HUUUUUUGE, but definitely enough muscle for me.1

I love Haley Atwell too! When I was dithering over which dress to wear for the oath-taking ceremony to become a US citizen, my husband said "wear the red one. It makes you look like Agent Carter".2
