okay so i guess the overall biggest loser each week will post the the challenge for the following week....
but for this week, i'm gonna give the challenge.....i challenge each team member to contact and become friends with your other team members if you are not already...show some love and support and get hyped up to win this challenge....we all know that success comes from support and your team can be successful if you support each other....so write on your friends walls, send them messages of encouragement, check in occasionally to make sure they are staying on track...we each are the key to helping our teams WIN...
also, drink 1 more water than you typically do....for me - i will be aiming for 13 waters each day....
let's go purple, clap, clap, clap clap clap, let's go purple, clap, clap, clap clap clap...can you tell i was a cheerleader wannabe in high school????? LOL0 -

Okay - I'm finally having time today to post today. I was still hanging out on r/w/b thread and didn't realize there was so much activity over here!
My name is Dana and I am a member of the ORANGE team. So first I'll give a shout out to my team members Shannon (who's already a friend of mine), Natalie and Charmaine (I'll hook up with you new friends later). I was hesitant to join this challenge because I'm getting closer to goal and worried I wouldn't be able to provide good losses for my team but then I decided this might just be the kick I need to get to goal! I'm waiting for Denise (thanks for all your hard work Denise!) to post the final R/W/B rankings b/c I was in the lead for Highest Loser for the challenge - Yay!! I will warn my team members that I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow and won't get back until Sunday. So my Monday weigh-in will probably be :::cringe::: a gain. But dont' worry - it'll drop back off quickly!
I'm married and have a 9 year old daughter and am the office manager at a civil war antique store in Gettysburg. I'm still trying to get the courage up to actually post a photo of MYSELF and take down the photo of my crazy dog Luna. I'll get there soon - maybe I'll post a photo from my first 5K which I ran at the end of June. Yup - through the support of people like you here at MFP I have become **gasp** a runner! I have never been able to run but have discovered that I love it! I completed the C25K program this spring and one day aspire to run a half marthon.
My highest pregnancy weight was 184 10 years ago. When I hit 186 2.5 years ago I decided something had to happen. I did WW and dropped to 156 with NO exercise. I was so happy with not feeling so large any more that I lost the desire to lose more and thought that I could handle maintenance without doing WW. WRONG! So January 1st of this year I was at 171 and started WW again. Then in February I found MFP, dumped WW and started exercising and the weight has been dropping off! Couldn't have done it without MFP and people like you. So I'll do my best for this challenge. I'm hoping to achieve my goal of 123 during the challenge - that means losing 9 pounds. I think I can do it!0 -
welcome dana to the new thread....is your start weight still 132.1???0
