    I'll probably adjust goal as I get closer. I was 140 when I got pregnant with my first. I remember wanting to lose a few pounds and tighten up, but looking at pictures now, I looked awesome :D

    I'm trying to lose all the baby weight (3 kids 13, 9 & 4) I've put ontop of my normal obesity from my whole life. I need the motivation and I will give motivation back. I just want to be able to ride my bike and not have the wheels go flat ;) lol.

    I'm doing ok food wise, just trying to clean up my diet a little more, but I am really struggling for workout motivation. It doesn't help that I work a fairly sedentary job and have been working 12 out of every 14 days for the last 6 months with no end in sight.

    Hello All,

    I started my journey in 2012, shortly after my grandfather had a heart attack...at that time it was a family effort which made the whole journey much easier. My starting weight was 273.0lbs over about a 2 and 1/2 year span I lost 109.7lbs and was down to 163.3lbs. Shortly after, a lot of changes took place in my life. August 25th 2015 my pup, my best friend passed away and that broke my heart. I tried getting myself together and then on March 11th 2016 I witnessed my boss, my one on one, my work partner and best friend killed in a motorcycle accident. Way too much devastation for me to mentally handle. Throughout these ordeals I thought I was still taking care of myself which clearly I haven't. My weight had peaked at 235lbs, I've seem to have slowly been getting it under control, but need constant reminders that I need to do this for myself because I deserve to be happy and healthy.

    Anyone can add me. I'm 5' 5" SW 228 (May), CW 211, GW 176ish. I have no idea what weight to aim at because during the one period in my life when I was fit and lean I didn't own any scales. 176 is 12 and a half stone so it's a nice round number to start with. I started having trouble with my knee and found myself avoiding stairs. I'm already mostly pain free and my flat feet have stopped hurting too. I had a two year plan for getting down to 176 and so far I'm six months ahead.

    I fancy running but am waiting until I've taken some more weight off my knees.

    i'm in the same bracket, i lose really slowly, but i'm active and i log pretty consistently (last week vacation not withstanding) adding me will make you feel better about your progress lol.
