I am lactose intolerant and switched mainly to Soy Milk, but sometimes like Flax Milk if protein is added. I think any alternative milk product without protein a waste of calories, better off drinking water. The problem is many of these products add considerable amounts of fat and sugar not originally part of the plant. So you need to read the Lable and select the best one that meets your nutrition needs. Good luck.

Yeah. Those flavored soy milks (chocolate. that stuff is amazing) are loaded with added sugar. I like it when I can find the no-added-sugar soymilk, which is even more bland than the "unflavored" ones.

Reading the label is smart for any food sold with a label. While I've seen soy milk with varying degrees of added sugar, I've never seen soy milk with added fat.

Did you mean this to be a reply to the "Opinions on Soy" thread?

As @Need2Exerc1se said, it's always a good idea to read labels
