Hello All,
I started my journey in 2012, shortly after my grandfather had a heart attack...at that time it was a family effort which made the whole journey much easier. My starting weight was 273.0lbs over about a 2 and 1/2 year span I lost 109.7lbs and was down to 163.3lbs. Shortly after, a lot of changes took place in my life. August 25th 2015 my pup, my best friend passed away and that broke my heart. I tried getting myself together and then on March 11th 2016 I witnessed my boss, my one on one, my work partner and best friend killed in a motorcycle accident. Way too much devastation for me to mentally handle. Throughout these ordeals I thought I was still taking care of myself which clearly I haven't. My weight had peaked at 235lbs, I've seem to have slowly been getting it under control, but need constant reminders that I need to do this for myself because I deserve to be happy and healthy.

Unsure of goal weight. I was 150s about 4 years ago and was fairly happy with myself but I sieve hours exercising every day. I have disc problems and can only walk and use the elliptical so I'm not expecting fast weight loss. Nutrition is supposed to be 80% our weight, right? My first goal is 170. For my height of 5'3" 130-140 is ideal.0 -

I'm just starting out with this app. 5ft 6 inch female. Highest weight ever was around 245 lbs 5 years ago. I build a SERIOUS amount of muscle when I exercise, so I know I won't get down to the "chart" weight zone.

Hiya all, starting my journey for the second time. A few years back I lost close to 100lbs using mfp and jillian Michaels dvds, then depression, new job, new relationship etc got in the way and I gained ever pound, plus another ten.
Currently sitting on 338lbs at 5'11, goal is to get back down to my smallest weight last time of around 220-235lbs and maintain there as I have a very large frame and much smaller just doesn't suit me.

My goal weight is still over weight on the BMI scale, so maybe when I get there I may try to go lower BUT 160 is the weight listed on my drivers license. The whole thing is I didn't even weigh 160 at the time I got it! I remember thinking I would lose ten pounds and get there... however that didn't happen. Now my ultimate goal is to match my license number!
