I've always been naturally slim and eventually got tired of being like that too. It takes consistent calorie counting -- you wanna be in a surplus every day. Also, supplement that with weight training to stimulate muscle growth. I've finally gained about 10 lbs since when I started!2

Wow!!! Any advise on the type of training needed??0

You'll most likely want to follow a progressive overload weightlifting program such as StrongLifts or StrongCurves, both very popular. I've been doing StrongLifts this summer and have gained so much strength! If you google it you'll be able to find everything you need to know about it on their website.

There is a lot of resources available to help you gain weight. If you struggle to get calories, thrn you should be looking into nutrient and calorie dense foods and drinks. The below thread should help.

If your goal is to gain muscle and minimize fat gains, to the extent possible, the like the above recommendation follow a progressive lifting program. StrongCurves tends to be a favorite of many women since its focused on lower body. But there are a lot of other choices. The below link has many programs and links information on them.
