    Does is sync with MFP? And why would it be a waster of money?

    Good luck! The only way it will be a waste of money is if you don't use it as the tool it is meant to be, a way to measure and increase daily activity. If combined with a calorie deficit, it can be an excellent tool for both weight loss and increased physical activity. If it isn't used as a way to set goal posts, then it will indeed be a waste of money.

    When I said a waste of money I meant will it log the same amount of steps as map my walk app or if it'll be more accurate

    Depends. If you set it to match your stride properly as well as map my walk requires good gps signsl.
