I'm 5'11", 210 lbs and I wear a size 14 or 16 depending on brand.1

Size depends so much on bone structure and build.
I'm 5'10", currently 225, size 18 jeans (at least, in my favorite brand).
Even that varies, because my waist/hip ratio is such that lots of jeans gap widely at the waist while they fit my hips, and when I buy "curvy" jeans, different brands scale them differently - some of them take a size 16 waist and make the butt bigger and call it a "16curvy," while others take an size 18 hip and make the waist smaller and call it a "18 curvy."0 -
Hello I just found the group.and I hope you don't mind me joining in. I'm 234 lbs. this is the most I've weighed in my life! I don't wear Jeans,my Dresses and skirts are around 16-18 in size. I'm just round all over!0

This is a super interesting thread! I've never really thought about this before... At 274, I am in some snug 18s... I should probably have bumped myself up to a 20, but have refused to buy another size up and instead have decided to lose the weight instead of losing my current pants for bigger ones. At what I would say has been my normal weight, 190ish, I was a comfortable 12 or 14, depending on the brand. Now that I'm considering it though, that is a significant weight difference and not much of a size difference. HOWEVER, as an 18, I shop in different stores. I wonder if I shopped at Maurices now instead of Torrid (or whatever plus size specific store) if I would actually be wearing a 22(ish)...2

I'm 239 and a size 16-18 depending on brand. Just got into 16's like a week or two ago. I carry the weight pretty evenly, but my thighs have always been thunderous. Lol2

I am 5'5", weigh 263lb and am anywhere between an 18-22 (XL-2X).0

5'6|, 250 fairly evenly distributed, Canadian size 18 is a little loose, but 16 is too snug in the waist0

5'7", 207 lbs, still a size 20. Butt, sacrum, thighs, and panniculus is where the majority of my fat resides. The rest in the arms, neck, and face. I'll be an 18 in the 190s, 16 in the 180s, 14 in the 160s, 12 in the 150s, 10 in the 140s. Skirts, a size smaller in each step. I do not wear shorts/pants snug, they have to be relaxed fit.0

Hi all,
Please feel free to add me. Stats are: SW: 236 CW: 213.6 GW: 145
I'm a girl, 5"2, UK size 18-20.0 -
I am 5'6. I started losing weight in January. my start weight was 235 and I was in a size 18. My current weight is 211 and back into a 16. I carry my weight in my hips/butt area. I have always had a bigger rump and a very hourglass figure. I don't gain too much weight on the top.
It really is just a matter of weight distribution and how you carry your weight and how tall you are that makes such crazy size variances among women of the same or similar height and weight.0 -
Interesting to see how everyone's body is different. And it goes to show that weight isn't everything. I'm just starting my weight loss journey, but im 5'8 205lbs and wear pants size 12/14.
I think my weight is pretty evenly distributed and im actually pretty muscular.
But i look forward to achieving my weight loss goals and I'm always looking for new friends.. So please add me!0 -
4'7 and 229lbs size 20 jeans but they are getting baggy0

I'm 5'4". Started at 234 in a tight size 16 am now down to 206 and now in a extremely loose 16. I could literally pull by jeans down without unbuttoning them but can't find a size 14 that doesn't fit so tight in the front. Lol0
