Everybody faces problems during weight losing. My biggest obstruction is my sitting job and colleagues who are trying to put on weight. I cant escape any of them.
I wonder how others are facing problems in loosing weight and any solutions if they have overcome from them.

I have a desk job as well. It was easier to lose weight when I had a job that was on my feet all day. If you think about it, people who are running around all day on their feet like in retail and such, are burning so many calories that they don't even have to workout after work. I like to focus on "metabolism" enhancing workouts rather than long, intense workouts that burn a ton of calories. I feel like if I can get my metabolism going, it'll be beneficial all day.
Also, a big obstacle for me is that everyone around me is not trying to lose weight. I do not have a single friend, family member, or coworker trying to lose weight! EVERYONE in my life is constantly ordering pizza and takeout and asking me to go to olive garden and eat those delicious breadsticks with them....having to constantly say no when they're like "oh, one bite wont kill you". But they don't understand. One bite WILL kill me. Because it'll turn into the entire basket of breadsticks, a bowl of chicken alfredo, and tiramisu.5 -

For me, it's my mental game. The feeling or thoughts of not wanting to go to the gym today or I am not seeing enough progress fast enough. My mental game is 90% of my battle.6

All the calories in alcohol. Especially wine and beer.4

I agree with this! If I don't see as much progress as I expected, it's all downhill form there. That is why I try and only weigh once a week1 -

The fact that I love "flavor" I love having the taste of certain foods left in my mouth. Problem is it doesn't last, so I have to eat more to maintain it.2

Something I've always wondered about this...Are you allowed to wear workout clothes then? Or do I have to walk in a blouse and dress slacks?
Plus heels, some require heels; for their female employees!0 -

My biggest obstacle is not being consistent with my eating schedule and not tracking my food..Buying this app has made my life so much easier already in just 1 day2
-
Fighting my own thoughts. I have only been tracking for 10 days (this time around) yet there's a voice in my head saying "just eat more - this isn't working - you're not making progress anyway - who cares?!"
Telling that voice to shut up and sit down is the hardest thing ever - it has won many times in the last 3 years. I can't let it win again.1 -

Being in a household where takeout and sweet food (cookies, doughnuts, etc) is the norm, and I'm the only one who cleans up the kitchen enough to cook decent, healthy meals. My parents raised me with the idea that I should help out, but I feel like the roles are switched now. They're the children who use every excuse in the book not to help (no energy, Facebook is more fun), and I'm the freaking grownup.
Anyone else have this problem?

Mine is my sweet tooth and wine. I definitely gain weight when have too much carbs and sugar and notice weight loss when I cut down on both. I try to limit myself to 1 glass of wine a day, sugar-free mints to curb the sweet tooth and allow myself one cheat day a week. It seems to help.0
