Thank you ice cream gods!

Does anyone else love ice cream like I do? Especially during the summer! Who am I kidding though? I could eat it year round!

Anyway, when I heard about Halotop Creamery I was dying to get my hands on some! They only have Arctic Zero at my local grocery store, which I've heard is totally bogus. Anyway, I went over to Whole Foods on Monday and picked up a pint of every flavor they have! It's amazing! I highly recommend it for people who aren't totally cutting out sweets, but looking for healthier alternatives to say, a 1,500 calorie pint of Ben & Jerry's. This *kitten* is so good!

What's in that pint? It sure as a passel of cats isn't milk, cream, sugar, egg.

What's the fiber number on a pint, with "prebiotic fiber"?
  • beachpizza
    beachpizza Posts: 18 Member
3g of dietary fiber per serving, 4 servings per pint.

See above for the ingredients in vanilla. Here's a picture of the nutrition facts. They have all the info on their website too!

I love Arctic Zero. I am surprised you don't like it!

I'm usually not a fan of "diet" foods and i'm not a fan of Arctic Zero or Enlightened but man I LOVE Halo top. No joke i've been eating half a pint every single day since I discovered it. The only key to pure low calorie delightfulness is to make sure to leave it out for 5-10 minutes before consuming.

Thanks twice! Once for the ice cream suggestion, and for explaining the *kitten*. I thought was interesting that everyone happened to pick the *kitten* to replace "bad" words. Apparently that's done automatically by MFP.

I find Artic Zero to be incredible, after some modifications. If I add a scoop of zero calorie marshmallow or caramel dip to any of the flavors and mix, it turns it creamy and it's incredible! I mean, absolutely incredible and for 150-170 calories for most of the pints, you can't beat it. Although, this stuff intrigues me and I may give it a whirl.

This is the only ice cream I buy now! Love the lemon cake and mint chip the most!

I ADORE it!!! The KEY is to leave it out and let it soften. It is EVEN better. My store doesn't sell the lemon cake version. :-( The flavors they do stock are hard to keep in the store.

I like Enlightened too but the artificial aftertaste is much stronger than with Halo Top.

This is very exciting. I am going out to buy some today. I really didn't like arctic zero, but I'm curious to know what zero calorie marshmallow and caramel dip you used @JinjoJoey

They have a whole line. Some of their stuff is awful, mind you. Some of their stuff, namely, the caramel, marshmallow and chocolate dip is incredible, considering, it's 0 calories. A couple of small spoons of this, mixed with the article zero, makes it pretty incredible, and the caramel, even more so! And the caramel dip with apples is pretty unbelievable for 0 calories. It's not perfect, but nothing will be for 0 cal. The only place I've seemed to find the brand is Cub Foods, but I haven't searched too much since there's Cubs all over my state.
