LCHF/keto need encouragement

Hi everyone! I need some support. A couple weeks ago, I started doing keto. The first week I lost 5.6 lbs! This past week I went on a work trip and was spoiled with eating out. I ate like a crack fiend, no limits, anything I wanted! I felt like a drug addict relapsing. Yes, it feels THAT serious. Previous to discovering keto, I lost 44 lbs just tracking my
Calories and working out 3x a week. I thought I was finally done with poor eating habits, something I've struggled with my entire life. I thought I was finally on the right track. I feel so defeated. I want to get back on keto. It's so beyond worrying about how I look. After this week of eating, I feel ill. Bloated, achy, and lethargic. I love seeing all you post your success here. I just need some words of encouragement tonight so that I can start fresh tomorrow. Thank you. ❤️

If you were so successful with counting calories, why did you switch to keto?? Keto may be too restrictive if are prone to binge like that. Did you binge when you counted calories?? Are you doing keto for health benefits or just the weight loss?

I don't normally binge and was loving keto. But we went to all these fancy places and I got caught up in the work cation. I think sometimes emotions affect
More than what you choose to eat or what style you choose to eat. I like keto because it help me cut without starving. When I was eating more carbs I was always hungry.

    Keto works. Stick to it.
    From Time Magazine quote :
"Research is mounting that saturated fat is better for you than processed carbohydrates like sugar and white bread"

When you diet, are you following really strict rules?

Most people starve themselves when dieting, then wonder why they can't stick to it long enough to lose all the weight they need.

A slight calorie deficit is all you need to lose weight, and you can do it by eating whatever you like in moderation. You don't need strict rules or diets.
