if they find you offensive, I find them offensive for finding you offensive. I realize this a cylindrical loop of offensiveness we are stuck within, but I rather not be offended by the oppressively offensive.1

I'm going to call this "trying the Ben approach"
But you're right. A bit of harmless flirting is fine but alot of people go too far, no tact or grace,and then become abusive if you don't reply. Is why I pick my friends carefully.
I draw the line at abuse and rudeness, and like @GnothiSeauton23, I would "correct" any dipshit that does. Trolls like that are intolerable.1 -

I just find it funny that it was really taken as such. I hadn't been on these boards in the past so I wasn't expecting folks to be searching for an ulterior motive.
I'm going to have to change that perception. But given some of the insecurities floating in the words of a lot of folks on here, I can't imagine it would make a change0 -
