    Successes/struggles this week: I see this is going to be a very slow month... I was hoping to be doing a little better than this, but hey, a loss is a loss, right? I get the feeling that I've reached the "It gets harder after the first X lbs!" (X being 20, 15, 10, etc.) stage. and I'm going to have to ramp up what I'm doing to push through it.

    *I revised my goal to be more realistic, based on this trend.

    Successes/struggles this week: Did very well with food this week and that weight loss is very encouraging :smile: I am still off the cardio - except walking - until I have recovered from the shoulder injury. Calisthenics have been my main exercise routine

    Successes/struggles this week: Consistent workouts & decent eating - but I weighed midweek and didn't expect a loss at all... so that's exciting. Big struggles coming up this week, though. It's Restaurant Week, and we've got reservations for 3 nights PLUS a work dinner another night. Need to do all morning workouts to offset, and make efforts to not eat everything I'm given.

    Successes/struggles this week: After this weekend I noticed that today (7/25) I gained quite a bit of water weight... I'm hoping this goes away fairly easily. This upcoming week I have a 5K walk/run that I signed up for with my Mom and my sister. I've never done one before, so it should be interesting. (And I'm definitely going to be walking it, I still can't run more than 1 minute at a time, but I'm working on it.)

    Successes/struggles this week: I really did not even want to post this, but figured it was only right lol. I was on vacation last week and although I didn't eat that bad at all (a few more snacks than usual, a few carbs and a few extra drinks) I only got a total of 5 miles in on my runs and no other exercise. I'm also holding some extra water weight due to tom which alone can usually cause me a few extra lbs. on a good month. Vacation is over and I'm back to working out and on my normal diet. I'm thinking that I'll be back down over the next few days!

    I have worked my *kitten* off this month and I am finally feeling a change, a small one still it shows so I am very happy. As a reward I now have a HRM chest strap and was surprised to find I have been burning way more calories than I estimated.

    Successes/struggles this week: I am shocked. I expected a gain. Ate out five nights last week, but I offset it with 6 classes over 5 days. Just... grateful. On to the next week!

    Successes/struggles this week: Lots of things contributed to some water-weight retention this past week. Both good and bad. I walked/jogged my first 5K on Thursday! My time wasn't amazing, but at least now I have a goal time to improve on! So that was great. I also went swimming in a friends pool this week (finally! first time in years!), and that was a lot of fun. But then I also ate a lot of salty food this week, and TOM showed up, so all in all, not a great week for weight loss. But just at the end here, the scale went down 4lbs over Sunday and Monday (I use a trend weight for my weigh-ins though.) So it seems my body finally decided to get rid of all that water! Looking forward to next August's challenge. These are great for keeping me motivated.
