Good Morning,
I am 7 years out from RNY and lost 185lbs in 8 months after surgery. I gained 60lbs back which I think is marvelous however I never reached my goal weight of 145lbs. I am currently 245lbs and need to get off 100lbs. I started the ketogenic diet yesterday because I am supposed to be on a protein low carb diet any way. I did this 2.5 weeks ago and it was an interesting experience. I never had dumping syndrome with eating fat just with sugar but it happened and it was awful. It lasted for over 3 days. I am back on Keto because I know it works for me. I got my macros right but for some reason my calories are higher. I don't understand. I can sure use some help or a buddy that has done this before. I can share my menu I always prepare it in advance. Thank you for your positive input.

I suggest you check out the main low carber forum here in MFP. It's where most of us Ketofiles tend to hang out:

I had RNY In 2003 and am also following a ketogenic diet, but only maintaining instead of losing. I'm having a hard time figuring out my macros0
