I'm floating between 3 books right now. "The Things They Carried" is a good narrative on the Vietnam War (it is anti-war, depending on your feelings), the 4th book of the Outlander series (awesome if you like historical fiction/romance), and a history of the Celts (not light reading). It really depends on what you like.

Those sound interesting, I'll look into those. Thanks!

Outlander is one of my all time favorite series

OP it all depends on what kind of books you like. Me, I'm big into fantasy, but I also like murder mysteries with the occasional historical fiction thrown in.

The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. It could move a little faster, but good so far.

I'm reading Sue Klebold's A Mother's Reckoning right now. Its not an easy read, heartbreaking in fact, but after I heard her interviewed I felt compelled to read it.

I recently started reading the complete works of H.P. Lovecraft. Kinda depressing sometimes, but really thought-provoking mostly. I'm enjoying the stories, plus a lot of them are short so it's great for when you're only in the mood for a quick read.

China Rich Girlfriend! By Kevin Kwan, this book is his second novel about the shallow, glitzy and gossipy world of Singaporean and South East Asian families swimming in wealth. Funny stuff!

I am not a big reader, but I did pick up some reading as of lately. I had to read 'The Dilbert Principle' for my management class. If you're a fan of the Dilbert comics and want some insight on management in businesses, its a good read. Now I've just started reading '7 Habits of Highly Effective People,' but I'm not in it very far.

Chose some books out of our own library. I have cataracts, so my reading time is precious little, because it is so difficult.

Two "Pogo" books, because Father read Pogo every day in the comics in the 1950s. The authort wrote mainly political satire for the comics in the newspapers then.

And I am looking over three different Bibles, trying to figure out which one to use as my main one, because of the cataracts. The nice, light ones have print that is too small, of course, but the ones with bigger fonts are SO heavy!

Just finishing up the Outlander series. I'm interested next in the Anita Blake series, Wheel of Time series, and Sky Chaser series. Not sure which one I'll start first.
