What Percentage of cals is YOUR Breakfast?

I'm just curious as to how everyone is eating their breakfast cals....
Roughly what percentage is your cals being allotted for breakfast? (Breakfast cals divided by your consumed cals)?
Mine is looking like close to 27% of my day's worth of cals. I averaged the last 7 days.
You know the saying, eat like a king for breakfast...

Usually 27.5%, but that's mainly because I have two huge lattes every morning which involve about 20oz of skim milk.0

Mine usually is between 27 and 32%. I used to never eat breakfast, but now it's always my biggest meal of the day. Definitely works for me.0

Probably around 31-32 % for me. I wanna get that to about 35% and spread the rest over snacks and other meals0

My breakfast is usually somewhere around 200 calories. I know they say its the most important meal, but its just not my favorite meal. I eat most of my calories at dinner, which again I know "they say" is not best, but it works for me and I have had no weight loss issues. I say everyone needs to figure out what works for them.0

Mine's about 15-20%.. assuming I calculated that correctly. Lunch tends to be my biggest meal.0

Im allowed 1700 cals a day and 250 is my brekkie ( no idea of %)0

About 17% on a regular basis.
While I was there, I checked my snacks and I am HORRIFIED by the fact that my snacks are higher than that. Time for a change!!0 -

same here...i usually eat anywhere from 160-200 for breakfast bc I like to eat more in the evenings. It hasn't affected my weight loss.0 -

20%. Right now I try to stick to 300 breakfast, 400 lunch, and 500 dinner, and I say "try". Difficult to do when my husband does the cooking. :-)0

I'm allowed 1200 cals (before exercise, which I eat back, so really more like 1600 cals) and breakfast is usually 350-400. I count my coffee (creamer), oatmeal, sweetener for the oatmeal, and usually either eggs or turkey sausage all as breakfast, even though I'm eating it all morning long.0

Me too! I would much rather have a snack later in the day! I usually have a cup of coffee with cream and a 100 calorie bar!0

Around 22%. I try to eat four meals/snacks of approximately equal caloric value, around 250-350 calories each, and eat the remaining calories as afternoon and evening snacks.0

I'm the same way - my breakfast isn't my largest meal of the day. My dinner is the largest. I've lost 60lbs, so it's working for me!0 -
With some experimenting, I have found I do best when mine is around 20% of my calories.0

humm, should i eat more in the morning? but I have quite fixed lunch times, so wouldn't help me to eat lunch later and i know i need something in the evening?0 -

250/1700 = 14.7%
Mine is 15-20% but none of my meals or snacks are larger than 25%, as I tend to eat 6-8 times/day usually 3 small meals and 4 snacks.0 -
mine is between 25%-30% ish
my biggest meal alternate between lunch and dinner. frankly it's just really hard to eat a lot so early in the morning.. also I snack a lot so often my three meals are kind of equal value.0 -

The linked article is pretty unconvincing, making vague references to study's without any quotes or actually showing us these studies.
I do believe that breakfast matters, but I don't buy most of what the author is selling.

Between 6-10% since breakfast usually consists of yogurt and some fruit. I do have to have a mid-morning snack as I'm up and out of the house so early it takes my body a little while longer to wake and catch up.0

15-18%. Usually have coffee with 1% milk and Splenda and an instant oatmeal packet. That leave me enough calories to have a mid-morning snack. Then have a lunch that equates to about 22%.... That leaves me enough to have a mid-afternoon snack. Which, in total, leaves me with nearly 50% of my calories remaining for dinner!0

Mine is just under 25% Kashi GoLean Truly Vanilla with a spoonful of non fat greek yogurt and a handful of raspberries. I have it with a glass of milk. Comes in just under 300 calories. Sometimes I'll add an apple.0

Thanks for this link to more convincing info! I know my link was not that good, just interesting advice from some random blogger after doing a quick google search...
According to this study in your link, body weight and fat mass was significantly reduced! You can see it in the charts clearly!
For those of you who are eating less than 15% of cals for breakfast, you may be eating larger dinners and it's working for you, but think about the POTENTIAL you can lose by switching to a larger breakfast!
