What's your favorite low-cal alcoholic drink?

I guess I'm not too adventurous with my drinks because I always order/make the same thing. Either vodka tonic or a shot of vodka with crystal light. I love a good wine or craft beer (Cake Walk by Right Brain is magic in a bottle, btw) but lately I've been trying to keep my drink calories down.

Any suggestions??

Not very creative but I enjoy some of the skinny girl drinks. I add a lot of ice.

    Pure blond beer - 92 cals/330ml
And I usually alternate with a no-cal (no-alc!) sparkling water. In a tall glass with ice, lemon and a straw it's a nice option to have when I'm out at the pub and the mister is having another beer.

Sparkling wine or proceco. Roughly 500 calories in a bottle. Lasts me all weekend!

Vodka and soda, the only calories are from the vodka. Actually what I drink generally.

My summertime drink is to take some diet sprite, add a shot of coconut infused vodka, muddle some fresh basil, mash up a little pineapple and a splash of pineapple juice, ice, stir and enjoy. Super refreshing.

I normally enjoy Jameson and soda water with a lime or lemon. However, lately I have been drinking vodka (Tito's) and Fresca.

Precisely this. I tend to prefer either Glenlivet, or Jameson. Something about that island just makes for good whiskey.

I kinda follow you: a short or two of real alcohol (vodka, flavored vodka, spiced rum) with a 0-calorie mixer of some sort (sparkling water; diet soda; crystal light, water with lemon).

My go-to is vodka/club soda. Recently I've became fond of whiskey - shots mostly - WOW where has that been all my life!

I try not to drink at home anymore, it's far too easy to let one glass of wine turn into six and then I'm eating everything in the fridge. Most bars don't have diet tonic or many of the other mixers listed in this thread so far. My go-to lately has been vodka sodas, the only calories are in the vodka. Stoli Blueberri and soda with a lime is my current favorite!

All great suggestions, thanks! :) And I agree with those of you who said that you try not to drink wine at home...it's too dangerous! Like the other night, my fiance and I made BBQ chicken pizza and I decided to have a glass of wine with it. I ended up having two and half glasses and one too many slices of the pizza :worried:

We get these gourmet mixers from our local liquor store...cosmo mixer, blood orange martini, etc...on their own in a vodka cocktail they're a bit sweet...we like to mix vodka with bubbly water and then just a splash of the mixer.

I haven't tried drinking shorts. They seem too solid and fabric-y. But with the glowing recommendations in this thread, I'll have to give them a try. Cotton or denim? Does solid go down smoother than plaid?
