    44 and compete in powerlifting (181 lb weight class, although I may see about dropping down to 165 after next year) once a year.

    There's nothing wrong with people of any age seeking help and support from others. If you don't need it or want it, great. What you appear to be doing here, though, is neither seeking nor providing any help or support.
