What tips do you have for avoiding/ignoring food cravings?

    @TavistockToad it seems that when I do that (I rarely have chips but will at times) then I just want more of it and have a hard time saying no.

    Some foods trigger some people.

    Chips do that to me, too. I just figure when I buy chips, I'm going to eat them more-than-one-serving-at-a-time. Same with cookies or any sweet things, crackers, or French bread. Mmmm. French bread.

    I've always found with cravings, if I REALLY REALLY want something it's just better to give in, have it, enjoy it, and move on, but make sure I record it. But I always ask myself "is it worth it?" and so often the answer is no. Another tactic is to pinpoint the craving, and there is often a healthier alternative. Good luck!
