I just finished walking the St. Cuthbert's Way-62 miles from Melrose in Scotland to Lindisfarne in Northumberland. This time last year I was 86lb heavier and too unfit to manage much activity, with high blood pressure and arthritic knees. I now have healthy blood pressure and am much fitter and over the last week I have seen places and done things that I never thought possible. The arthritis still causes problems but I carried ice packs to use when we stopped to eat!! I wasn't about to let it stop me.

Wow, what an awesome story and accomplishment, both the weight loss and fitness increase. Did you do the trail all at once, or spread it out over weeks/months? Beautiful scenery.
