The title says it all.

I am beginning my journey and instead of doing hours of endless cardio. I will also be starting strength training. I would like to have friends who know more about it so I can learn from...

;)

I compete once a year in powerlifting, if that helps.

In addition, a good group here to join is http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/10118-eat-train-progress

Quite a few knowledgeable people there - without the BroScience.

A Stronglifts forum, but a good community of women who lift on a variety of programs. (Though most probably started with Stronglifts)

I'm here--I'm not expert--but I've started Olympic lifting and powerlifting. I also attend a lifting class at my gym that pretty much covers everything else.

I've done some lifting in the past with a trainer and will do it again as soon as I move back to the place where I have access to weights (in September). Add me :)

i don't have access to gym equipment to do strong lifts or really any lifts, but i'm starting body weight strength training this week and i don't know much about it. if that counts, i'd love to add people or join a strength group to learn more.
