Hi, I'm Cathy and I just joined MFP yesterday. I had never heard of it before, and when I had my annual physical on Thursday my doctor told me about it. I am in a great place emotionally, and ready to do this, and for me the mental commitment is what keeps me going. I currently weigh 286 lbs and want to ultimately reach 150. Three years ago I made it down to 220, but I put it all back on. I know it could take me a few years to reach my goal, but I'm ready.

It took me two years to lose 110 pounds. I was 297 and I want to get to 165. I don't care how long it takes and when I get there I will still track my foods as I add back foods to maintain my weight. In the past that was my problem not adding back foods slowly to maintain. I just went back to eating the way I did and not tracking my foods. Now I track everything even if I cheat. I know I will get there and I know you guys will too. Best Wishes.6

267 a week ago when I started. 263 now. Also have 100+ to lose but my first big goal is 205 (what I weighed when I last felt healthy and confident). Setting mini goals along the way, first up: 10 - 15 lbs by October (for my November wedding).

I just started the appThursday trying to figure it out. I go the gym everyday . I'm looking to loose 100 plus pounds. I'll give everyone as much support as needed. We can do this together. I'm also battling some health issue . I got diagnose with breast cancer last April and had my breast removed . I now have implants and having multiple surgeries along the way. So the gym is my outlet. Let's do this together2 -

SW at 309 and im already down to 302 in about 2.5 weeks. Ultimate goal would be 200 or lower, main goal right now is to get to 250, 52 lbs to go then another 50 after that. Feel free to add me!1

Here I go again. The yo yo dieting. I can berate myself, which makes me eat even more, or stop feeling sorry for myself and dig in again. I have to do it. I read a lot about lifestyle changes. I have changed my mindset and lifestyle a hundred times. There is a piece missing.1
