I bought new scales today and they say I'm 8lb heavier than my old scales

Don't panic! Check them with an object you know the weight of, ie. A bag of sugar/flour. Make sure the surface you place the scales on is flat x

Thanks for this. Most of it I knew but the temperature sensitivity was new to me. Good to know my winter weight gain has nothing to do with the third helping of Christmas pud!!
