just dance 2 VS zumba for wii

Is zumba for the wii just like the game just dance.. i didnt care for that game.. also does zumba tell you how many cals you burn? I dont have a HRM

    Just dance is a game Zumba is a workout you get a score but they cant tally your calories. You wiggle and they same great job, really it is a pretty pathetic game but an excellent workout.

    I have Just Dance and Just Dance 2....the 2 gives you a "Just Sweat" thing and it gives you a program. I like it, but I have always loved to dance. After a while though I needed something else but I think it's a good way to start. I don't have Zumba I have been thinking about it but I think I rather get the DVD's

    i love just dance two but zumba is definately better workout wise - u can chose which level u wna work at and for how long which is better than JD2 where u kinda fiddle around picking songs trying to pick good ones to work out to. plus zumba is alot more energetic

    I know you didn't ask about this one, but I looked at both of those and went with Gold's Gym Cardio Dance for Wii. I LOVE it! It has a lot of latin dance (read: Zumba) tutorials and classes, cardio boxing (which is awesome) and other mini games like bull fighting (a really good workout) and canoeing, karate, marathon running, etc. It tells you how many calories you've burned for each activity. Just another option to consider...

    Thanks for posting, I have Just Dance 2 and was wondering about Zumbi for Wii. The classes don't fit my schedule.

    I don't know about Just Dance, but I've been going to zumba classes for a few months now, so I got the game to complement it. If you really give it 100% then it's a fantastic work out in my opinion, but if you go at it with only half an interest then you're not gonna get as much out of it.
    Wii will be bringing out a new version of the game that has a calorie estimater on it (so I've heard anyway). Due out the end of the year.

    Buy a HRM! They aren't expensive..the one I got online was only $45 with shipping.
