On the question "How would you describe your normal daily activities?", I am torn between selecting Lightly Active and Active so please feel free to tell me which fits me more. I do cardio twice a week (30 minutes) and I lift 4 times a week. Also, I work at a retail store where I am walking almost all the time and occasionaly I will lift heavy boxes or products, but in general I would say my job makes me walk more than lift heavy stuff. Does my profile fit the Active or light active?

You are an active person for sure. Lightly Active would be if your sitting in office all day but do some stuff outside the office kind of example.:-)1

Sedentary is literally bed ridden. Lightly Active is you get up. active is you actively seeking out activity. Very active is you are training for something.1

Your activity level has nothing to do with the amount of exercise you do.
If you work retail it is usually light activity.
Log your exercise separately and eat back a portion of those calories. That is the way MFP is set up.

I wouldnt bother worrying about logging your exercise and trying to work out your TDEE via a calculator.
Just start logging your food to give you a good idea of your calorie intake. Add 200 calories to you average day and take it from there.0 -

It really depends on which method he is using. If he is using MFP, then no, it doesn't count, but if he is using a TDEE calculator, all activity and exercise is included in the calculation.
OP, pick one, track for a month and then adjust. They are all estimates at the end of the day.0 -
Sorry @psulemon, by the initial question and answers options it read as the MFP calcularor, not any of the off site TDEE calculators. That is why I only addressed the MFP NEAT option.
Cheers, h.

Hey no worries. I am not really sure what method the op was following but i have yet to see anyone in the bulking section actually follow the mfp method.1
