    When I discovered Star Trek: Voyager after moving back to Iowa after my dad died I was drawn to the Vulcan practice of repressing emotions and being logical. I did that from late 1999 to mid 2006. As a result, I still sometimes look blank when I am amused or happy or anything else. My voice also used to be completely monotone as well.
