So you're telling me there's a chance!!
I think you should proceed to send him the you-know-what's.

This is really sweet! MFP is a great way to meet people with the same goals and mindset. People on here are super supporting, motivating, and uplifting. So if you two can bring that to your relationship, all the better! Congrats to you both!1

It makes a lot of sense to meet someone here if you think about it. Someone who understands the struggles, the highs and the lows. It's a commonality that many people don't have anymore. All of the people in my daily life could give a *kitten* less about fitness or nutrition. My MFP friends understand me and they also somehow share my twisted humor. It's a place for support and motivation, 2 very key things in a relationship. Congratulations to both of you!
So...are you and I getting married or nah?

My wife and I met online back in 2000 before it was cool to do so. Definitely wasn't looking but happy accident with @deliriou599. It's funny a couple of years before that I was intentionally trying to find someone and that ended up falling flat.1

No, currently single. Finding someone from MFP is perfectly acceptable to me though.2

I've tried doing distance before and I'd be highly unlikely to do so again after my experiences trying, so I doubt I'll ever meet someone through MFP.
As yourself and another on this thread have said though, sometimes you just click unintentionally in the most unlikely of places, so I'm really happy when I see those relationships going the distance. They are a whole different set of challenges to a "normal" relationship, so congrats to you both0 -

No one forced you to come in...
I for one, like to hear happy news...beats listening to all the negativity in the news nowadays!0
