It has nothing to do with eating "right". When we eat less, we need more water to compensate for the water we don't get thorugh food.
How is the weather where you live?0 -
Are you male or female?
The average male needs 3L per day, and more if they're active.
In my opinion, as long as you are peeing clear then it's no worries.0 -

ah, the larger you are the more water you need too.
you can add .5L for every 10kg overweight you are.0 -

that's interesting, as i thought that clear pee was too hydrated?2 -
Its very hard to be "too" hydrated, the body uses what it needs and excretes the rest i.e. pee!1

no colour/clear is usually a sign of over hydration.
It should be atleast slightly yellow.
You can do a quick search on "urine hydration levels" on google which will give you an indication of where you stand.
I think the colour of your pee (in general) is the best indicator rather tahn downing a set amount of liquids.0 -

Hey man,
No time like the present to start working out brother. I was 355lbs walking into the gym ,walked funny and couldn't train legs at all do to knee problems. It didn't stop me from working my upper body though, it gets easier and easier and easier the longer you workout! All of a sudden you're not winded taking the stairs... you don't sweat as much when doing anything normal... you genuinely feel so much better!! you're less tired, more energy all the time.. and it just gets better and better from there.
Feel free to message me if you want someone to talk to about starting off in the gym and what to expect. Good luck on your journey sir.
Also to comment on the water, I'm 200-205lbs right now and drink 5-6L of water per day, sometimes more .. I've always consumed allot of liquids though all my life... I'm just weird like that

Excessive thirst can be a sign of diabetes so it might not hurt to get that tested.0

sorry.... as long as your pee isn't dark yellow no worries??
I meant clear with a twinge of yellow, but either way, it's pretty obvious when someone's dehydrated.1 -
Someone with uncontrolled blood sugar will have fruity smelling pee.1
