*LOTS OF PICS AT THE END OF THIS POST*!!!
I started out at 234lbs. I was wearing a very tight size 18 jeans and XXL shirts.
In February 2016 I finally got to the mindset where I was ready to make changes to my life and my health once and for all, after working so hard on my emotional and mental health, overcoming anxiety and depression.
Through lots of hard work and determination, eating clean, going to Orangetheory fitness 2-3x a week and the regular gym on the days in between for cardio and weights, I have successfully dropped -47LBS since February and now weigh 187lbs. I still have another -17lbs to go to get to my first goal weight (170lbs).
I have an extremely high skeletal muscle mass of 36%, so whenever I "compare" myself to other girls the same clothing size as me, I'm always 20lbs heavier than them. Therefore, this journey has become less about a specific number on the scale and more about being happy with what I look like and when I decide to stop losing and start maintaining.
I am now wearing a size 12 jean and a M shirt.
-23lbs
-28lbs
-30lbs (the excess fabric on the dress was clipped super tight in the back)
-37lbs
-37lbs
-41lbs (between the far left and far right pic... the middle pic was after -24lbs)
-41lbs and starting my Couch to 5k program!
-45lbs (excess fabric pulled tight)
-45lbs (my arms! so much smaller)
-45lbs from the top two pics to the bottom two pics
-47lbs
Happy to add any new MFP friends that are on the same journey as me!
Thanks for looking!
