*LOTS OF PICS AT THE END OF THIS POST*!!!

I started out at 234lbs. I was wearing a very tight size 18 jeans and XXL shirts.

In February 2016 I finally got to the mindset where I was ready to make changes to my life and my health once and for all, after working so hard on my emotional and mental health, overcoming anxiety and depression.

Through lots of hard work and determination, eating clean, going to Orangetheory fitness 2-3x a week and the regular gym on the days in between for cardio and weights, I have successfully dropped -47LBS since February and now weigh 187lbs. I still have another -17lbs to go to get to my first goal weight (170lbs).

I have an extremely high skeletal muscle mass of 36%, so whenever I "compare" myself to other girls the same clothing size as me, I'm always 20lbs heavier than them. Therefore, this journey has become less about a specific number on the scale and more about being happy with what I look like and when I decide to stop losing and start maintaining.

I am now wearing a size 12 jean and a M shirt.

You cracked me up so much about wearing all black! I started in February too, although I was 47 pounds heavier than you at the time. I was in the same boat emotionally and honestly didn't give a flying crap about how fat I was, I just wanted to FEEL better. I've lost 58 pounds and I feel awesome! Training for a 5k as well. You look FANTASTIC!!! Congratulations on your success, you're an inspiration for sure :)

I started in June at 1 lb less than you. I've entered my 1st 5k (walking due to knee injury).

Thanks for posting this, it's inspiring to see others that were my weight and size and how successful they've been. It picks me up on the days that I think this is going so slow:).
