Right now I'm obsessed with Quaker Lightly Salted or plain rice cakes (the regular size, not the mini)! I can eat 3 for only 105 total calories, 21g of carbs, and only 45g of sodium! Really good calorie "bang for your buck" so to speak. They are really good with peanutbutter, cream cheese, Laughing Cow cheese, or just plain.

Broccoli, Cherub tomatoes, Canned mushrooms (I put them in just about everything for a quick veggie serving), Popcorn, Pringle's Stix snacks, Skinny Cow ice cream treats, and Sugar Free Fudgesicles for my hubby :) And our newest favorite, Bertolli Oven Bakes pasta dinners YUM!

I'm surprised to see how many people have nuts on their list ... they are great for protein and good fats, but are not really very low in calories.

    My faves for low cal:

    Laughing cow cheese
    Mini babybel light cheese
    Sugar snap peas
Sliced red, yellow or orange bell pepper
    Jicama
Any fresh fruit - I think the only fresh fruit I don't care for is persimmon
    Non-Fat yogurt
    Hard boiled egg

    fat free veggie dip:

1 cup fat free sour cream
1 cup fat free mayo [I use a bit less...more like 1/2 cup]
    2 T dry dillweed
    minced garlic [or powder]
minced onion [the dried kind, or onion powder]
    salt

mix and dip veggies into it. If there's any left over [my family loves it], refrigerate covered.

Greek yogurt - I like Chobani, Fage, and Dannon brands. Fresh (not frozen) chicken breast and low sodium tuna are my favorite proteins. Wholly guacamole 100cal packs and whole grain tortilla chips are GREAT snacks. Otherwise, I stick with fresh fruits and veggies, I MUST get these weekly: grapes, apples, bananas, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach, snow peas, carrots, celery, asparagus, red cabbage. Raw nuts and trail mix are a must have, even though they aren't always low cal.

Fat free yogurt, I LOVE Fage - but any plain one will do really.
    Raspberries - but most fruit
    Any low fat cheese
    Chicken
    Salad
    Canned tuna
    Eggs
    Fish
Raw nuts - especially almonds, I eat about 6 at a time, good fats and only about 42 cals for the 6

    xx

I LOVE edamame - frozen fresh whole soy beans from Sam's Club/Costco. They are prepackaged in 1/2 C bags. ( I don't use the sea salt) they are not genetically modified, no pesticides or funny biz! Fun to eat and cruncy!

Claussen refrigerated pickle halves. I crave these and they have almost no calories.
